Wire rope characteristic mark

3.1 Size

3.1.1 Round Wire Rope: The nominal circumcircle diameter of the wire rope is expressed in millimeters.

3.1.2 Braided Wire Rope: The nominal circumcircle diameter of the wire rope is expressed in millimeters.

3.1.3 Flat wire rope: The nominal circumscribed rectangle size (width x thickness) of the wire rope is expressed in millimeters.

3.2 Surface state of steel wire

The surface state of the wire is marked with the following code:

a. Smooth steel wire: NAT;

b. Grade A galvanized steel wire: ZAA;

c. Grade AB galvanized steel wire: ZAB;

d. Grade B galvanized steel wire: ZBB.

3.3 Structure Code

3.3.1 Rope (Feed) Core

Wire rope cores are marked with the following code:

a. Fiber core (natural or synthetic): FC;

b. Natural fiber core: NF;

c. Synthetic fiber core: SF;

d. Wire rope core: IWR;

e. Wire strand core: IWS.

3.3.2 Steel wire

The cross-section of the wire in the wire rope is marked with the following code:

a. Round wire: no code;

b. Triangle wire: V;

c. Rectangular or flat steel wire: R;

d. Trapezoidal steel wire: T;

e. Oval wire: Q;

f. Semi-sealed steel wire (or steel wire) with round steel wire: H;

g. Z-shaped steel wire: Z.

3.3.3 Shares

The cross section of the stock is marked with the following code:

a. Round shares: No code;

b. Triangle stock: V;

c. Flat stocks: R;

d. Oval stock: Q.

3.3.4 Wire rope

The cross section of the wire rope is marked with the following code:

a. Round wire rope: No code;

b. Woven wire rope: Y;

c. Flat wire rope: P.

3.4 Structure of steel rope

For the full name and abbreviation of the legends of different types of wire ropes, see 5.3.

3.4.1 Full name marking method for single wire rope and sealing wire rope

The outside of the steel rope is marked to the center, and the number of layer-by-layer steel wires of the steel rope is marked, including the center wire, separated by a "+". Such as a single wire rope: 12+6+1.

For non-circular cross-section wires, use the corresponding symbol shown in 3.3.2 to add to the number of wires. Such as sealing wire rope: 23Z+9H+12+6+1.

3.4.2 Full name marking method for double twist ropes

Marked by the outside of the rope to the center, the total number of shares is marked layer by layer, followed by the structure of the shares in brackets; the structure of each strand is marked by the outward center, indicating the number of layer-by-layer wires of the strand. The number of strands of each strand (including the center filament or fiber core) is separated by a "+" symbol; the number of strands per strand is also separated by a "+" symbol. For fiber core ropes, the "+" mark is also used to separate the strand from the marking of the fiber core. Multiple strands of natural fiber core: 12(6+1)+6(6+1)+NF.

For metal strands, separate them with "+" before IWS (see 3.3.1e), and then mark the structure of the strands in parentheses. Such as metal strand core wire rope: 6(6+1)+IWS(6+1).

For metal cord ropes, separate them with a "+" before the IWR (see 3.3.1d), and then mark the strand structure of the cord in brackets. Such as the metal rope core West Rope: 6 (10 +10 +1) +

For filled wire ropes, the filling wire is marked with the letter "F" and separated by a "+" sign. For example, a metal cord filling rope: 6(12+6F+6+1)+IWRC6(6+1)+IWS(6+1)).

For Warington wire ropes, different diameter steel wires in the same layer are separated by a "/" symbol. Such as natural fiber core Lin Tong swallow rope: 6 (6/6 + 6 +1) + NF.

For irregular stocks, use the corresponding symbol shown in paragraph 3.3.3 to add to the number of shares. Such as natural fiber core triangular strand wire rope: 6V (9+12+1V)+NF.

3.4.3 Marking method for three-wire rope

The outside of the rope is marked to the center and the total number of strands is indicated. The structure of the strands is then indicated in small brackets (see 3.4.2). Such as) Three-wire rope full name mark: 6 [6 (6 +1) + NF] + NF, the abbreviation mark; 6 × 6 × 7 + 7 NF.

3.4.4 Marking method of braided wire rope

Its mark is the same as the double twisted wire rope (see 3.4.2), and is only indicated by the symbol “Y” before the total number of strands. Such as braided wire rope full name mark: Y8(12+6F+6+1).

3.4.5 Marking Method of Flat Wire Rope

The marking method is the same as the three-wire rope (see 3.4.3). Only the total number of ropes is preceded by the symbol “P”. Such as flat rope full mark: P8 [4 (6 +1) + NF]; abbreviation mark: P8 × (4 +7 + NF).

3.4.6 Acronym Marking Method

Simplified marking of wire ropes is to separate the total number of strands in their full-length markings from the total number of wires per strand by "x", and then to separate them from the code of the core by "+". For example, the abbreviation is: 6×7+NF.

For wire contact wire ropes, such as Xilu wire rope, whose abbreviation code is S, Varintong wire rope abbreviation code W, and fill wire rope abbreviation code Fi, or a composite and composite structure wire rope composed of them, the total number of wires in each strand The abbreviation of the structure is annotated. For example, the metal core Walin West Lulu is abbreviated as: 6×41WS+IWR. Another example is braided wire rope abbreviation mark: Y8×19Fi.

3.4.7 Marking Method of Surface Contact Wire Rope

The surface contact wire rope is the same as the corresponding double wire rope marking method of the corresponding structure. Only the code number T is added after the total number of shares. The surface of the fiber core is in contact with the wire rope 6T(6+1)+NF, abbreviated as 6T×7.

3.5 Tensile strength

3.5.1 nominal tensile strength of steel wire: R0

The nominal tensile strength of steel wire is expressed in units of N/mm2.

3.6 Orientation

According to the control direction, it is represented by two letters (Z or S); the first letter indicates the direction of the rope, the second letter indicates the direction of the strand, the letter "Z" indicates the right arrow, and the letter "S" indicates the left. Towards. "ZZ" or "SS" indicates right or left common direction, and "ZS" or "SZ" indicates right or left interactive mode.

3.7 Minimum breaking force of steel wire rope: The minimum breaking force of F0 steel wire rope is expressed in units of kN.

3.8 Weight per unit length: M Calculated weight per 100m, expressed in units of kg/100m.
